After saying that I was going to blog more often and spend more time with you all...I disappeared once again! A little thing called the "4/5 Generalist Endorsement"took me away this time!
My original licensure was Pre-Kindergarten through Third Grade. I decided to go for my 4/5 endorsement when my school district started talking about "deep cuts" if the Spring levy didn't pass. I was worried even though I have 8 years in with my district. I've also always wanted to get my 4/5 endorsement so that I could know as much as possible!
My classes started on June 18th. The work load was CUH-RAZYand didn't let up until the end of the classes on July 24th! I really loved the classes and I'm so glad that I took them! Also, I'm happy to report that I passed my Praxis test and can get the endorsement added to my license!
ANYWAY... (sorry if that was boring! I'm just thrilled to have accomplished all that!)
Like I mentioned earlier, I've accepted a job teaching Kindergarten at another Elementary school in my district. I've been packing up all my things and moving the boxes. So fun. (Can you "hear" the sarcasm in my "voice" ?!) I hope to take some before and after pictures of my new classroom! :)
Many people have been posting "Back to School" status updates on Facebook. I can't believe it is almost that time already! I go back on August 19th (something like that...I'm still pretending it doesn't exist!). When does everyone else go back?
